The game died immediately after release.
Even going Free to Play didn't add a playerbase that made the game profitable to run.
Just a few months after its release and the playerbase was dead again.
The ironically predatory DLC policy didn't help the game. The rather stale gameplay didn't help either.
during beta and stuff it was all good, but afterwards they mess up, such as they were suppose to make balancing fair between monster and hunters, they kept messing up making hunters overpower, or monster overpower, they had it pretty good during beta, all they had to do was tweak alittle on it AFAIK when I played during beta, they also had queue time issue at the start where wait long time or too many people jumping in at wrong time, and there the limited hunter issue you can queue as that cause longer queue time, it just a mess at the start.
And it'll still be a dead game.

That game died faster than Evolve, which is quite a feat.
Servers cost money and support costs money too, even if only in a tiny amount.
The fact is 2K are a business and if they do not see revenue offset the cost then it isn't worth doing.
So sorry, but not going to happen.
