Dropbox Links are Dead
Don't know why, but today Steam finally decided that Dropbox is "the source of all evil" and has added links to dropbox to it's auto-remove filters.

Why?

This decision came out of nowhere. No warning, no announcement, nothing. They didn't even apply a warning screen to the links like they did with Google Drive.

This is incredibly aggrivating, as I am a staff member on a tf2 custom content contest. Any participant that was using Dropbox to send files now has all of their submissions removed. This means that we have to somehow get over 100 people to change all their submission links to Google Drive. The fact that this happened while we were in the middle of compiling all the submissions is just another big middle finger, as we could now face delays when trying to release the contest.

Why they opted to flat out ban dropbox while keeping google drive alive is just a mystery.

It makes sense though. People can easily use dropbox to share ilegal contents

That can be said with any place.

But DB hasn't been reported as such on Steam like most of the other sites.
