He had to do multiple confirmations and he still listed his item at the wrong price.
Try that with bulk confirmations and see how much of a headache the support tickets would cause.
But if you don't mind that, sure you can sell the thousands of your dirt cheap items.
But if you want to mass sell items I'd recommend getting Steam-Economy-Enhancer[github.com], it's a plugin for Tampermonkey for Chrome.
You'll be able to select any and all cards or items you want and mass sell at the desired price you want, do note depending on how big your inventory is it might lag up a little and take some time to load. If you don't want to hit the 200 item limit on the market you'll need to read the Community Market FAQ.
