Access denied
Hi, so i am not able to connect to any steam related websides, in steam client i can't acces anything else than library. Everytime i try open store, communnity, profile, etc. Or websides of steam i get access denied you don't have permission to access. My steam account works when i use mobile data, so i thought maybe my provider is blocking steam servers. But they told me blockation is not coming from their side. They also told me that steam and some others gaming servers started blocking incoming connections from one public IP adress. Is there any way to solve this? I put quite a lot of money into my steam account and now i can't use it. Thanks

Steam support replied that thwy can't help me and i should try forum, etc.

So is there anyone who had the issue and solved it ?

Do you use your own private connection or do you use some semi-public one like a university or internet cafe?
Do you use a VPN?

I use steam only at home, so i assume it is private connection? And no i don't use VPN.

Some IPs have been blocked.

Mainly botnets.

Set your DNS to 1.1.1.1 (that's Cloudflare's privacy-friendly service, I won't go anywhere near Google's DNS after their numerous privacy incidents).
If that works, we can be pretty sure that your ISP simply doesn't want you to use Steam.

Delete Steam's web cache. That sometimes helps.

Lol cloudflare and privacy?nice joke

Cloudflare provides a service committed to never writing the querying IP addresses to disk and wiping all logs within 24 hours, with the exception of providing data to APNIC labs for research purposes. APNIC and Cloudfare committed to treat all data with high privacy standards in their research agreement statement...
Opendns or opennic
