Is a GeForce GTX 980 Ti good?

the 980 Ti is a solid card.. granted, certain manufacturers using some cheap fans on them, so you wanna pay close attention on who made your 980 ti

The 980ti was a solid video card...hell, it still is with plenty of performance to stay relevant in games. IDK, it still hardly feels "obsolete" even with the 10 models out now.

honestly I'd take a 980 ti over a 1050... still waiting on the manufacturer of the 980 ti btw

The 980 ti is about par with a 1070 and if you can get it for $200 depending on the model I would go for it. The 980 ti's are not good for mining so there isn't too much concern there. The 1050 is a bare min GPU and I would try to at least get a 1050 ti or rx 470.

For the amount someone games hydro will not be noticeable you just need to make sure your PSU can handle it.

i'd be a bit wary of a 1070 at that pirce.. is it used? manufacturer? where is the seller located?

Lowest I can find is $500 for a 1070. If you see one for $140, I suggest being careful as it could be a scam.
