Razer sending discount offers on games through email

How does Razer know what's on my steam wishlist ?
I have a Razer account but I never linked it with steam...

And surprisingly the emails have the same games on steam wishlist ! ...

How's this happening ??

Are these recent popular games or older/obscure ones? In case of the former there is nothing to it.

More likely Razer is scanning your PC, Wasn't Epic games doing something similar some months ago?

I stopped buying Razor when they started their 'account requirement' for their Harware DRM system ..

No account.. no activation.. no features..

Unless that has changed recently.. which I doubt.. I wouldn't put it past them to practice other similar behaviors.

Have you logged in to your Razer account with your Steam account details? Or otherwise linked them?

Because Razer has a Wishlist in their Cortex system which will sync from linked accounts (Steam/GOG) and your account meets the requirements for a Steam sync (it's got a public wishlist).

oh the public wishlist...that might be possible ...

But I never linked my steam account with razer ...

Although the razer account was connected to google...

Anyways I have deleted razer account. I got freaked out when they knew what was on my steam wishlist....

It's not possible for razer to scan my pc ..

I don't have any of their software installed now. (I did but that was months ago).

I haven't either, even though I appear to have Razer Synapse installed from years ago. And I'm using a Razer mouse though I've not done anything beyond plugging in its USB.

I have 4 Razer products and don't get these emails.
