HTTP error code 500 is a server-sided issue, which could mean that the server expected some data which it didn't get. Maybe an overzealous ad blocker?
Open your file explorer, go to %appdata%. You'll have a folder called "Opera Software" which contains "Opera Stable". Rename "Opera Stable" into something else, I also highly recommend you make a backup copy somewhere just to be safe.
This will reset Opera back to its defaults.
To complete this task also go a few directories up ("AppData"), go to 'Local' where you'll find another Opera folder. That one contains all your cache, also rename it (or just throw it all away, it's simply cached data).
Then try again.
Warning This will reset everything, so make sure you keep your credentials close by because you will need to log on all over again. If things work normally from here on then you can be sure that some extension (or another glitch) caused your problems.
Happy to hear the issue got resolved but sorry that those extensions went missing. Still:
https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/?hl=en-US
That should help....
