Partnership possibilities?
Does Steam have anything like - for streamers? Without trying to promote anything, I just want to say why I ask. A streamer I follow constantly gives away steam products and directs hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars of business toward Steam. He's been let down a lot by ♥♥♥ and I asked him if there was any possibility to organise something with Steam. But for various reasons he doesn't think it's possible. I think it is more than possible so I'm asking on his behalf. I would greatly appreciate a contact for email to talk to someone in more detail.

Thanks.

AFAIK, there's unfortunately no partnership program with Valve for streamers or videomakers.

he needs to find sponsors. try asking makers of keyboards, mice, monitors, headsets, chairs and others to sponsor his streaming.

that is the real way to do it.

valve does not like to involve themselves with partnerships/sponsoring streamers.

We've got no problem with cash, he'll keep up giving away Steam gift cards and games and people from his channel will keep buying games he plays. I just thought it would be good to have a bonus code for all the games he's responsible for the sale of, like he has with G2*, but peopel aren't going there anymore.

He thinks he's not big enough for some sort of deal. I think that doesn't necessarily matter when he's consistent. He spends a guaranteed $50 a week, and up to 500 a week if there's a new game that everyone's buying because of him. The winners of teh gift cards also come to steam and often use the card as part of a larger purchase.

Anyhow, all i wanted to do was perhaps set something up for him, I had some wierd idea that I could get Steam to approach him, I was trying to do somethin for him.

All good though, just wanted to let people know where I was coming from with this. He will continue the same use of Steam regardless, i could just see the potential for more.

Thanks all for the input.

How are we supposed to have a discussion with things being chopped out all the time?
