Dignitaries in Rome 2
I've been noticing when i set my dignitaries to administrate i'm losing a lot of money, not every time but enough that i can end up several thousand down on the revenue i was promised for the next turn.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Check your Dignitaries, maybe they have bad traits that lose money instead of increase tax rate. Also you can only use 1 Dignitary per Province. And if your Dignitaries are new, the increase are generally small, until they get to higher level.

MVL, In follow-up to D27's thought about bad traits, is it possible that corruption is on increase? I looked under "corruption" in Rome2 encyclopedia: "As your empire grows and you gain more regions, your taxation becomes less efficient through corruption. Corruption is a percentage that is directly deducted from your tax income. The more regions you own, the higher your corruption level." I believe that you can review corruption percentage in region & province details. To address corruption without mods, you have to select technologies under philosophy research that reduce corruption. The dignitaries are up at level ten and have many tax bonuses. I wouldn't have thought that corruption could affect a character like that. What point to using them if there's a good chance you could end up with 1600 less for the next turn?
Could it be that my install is corrupt? Is it happening to anyone else?

Did you check your traits, at the left side, not skills at right side? Without mods to remove those idle bad traits, you dignitaries might get them and reduce the income.

The traits are fine. Could someone check in their game and see if it's happening to them please? Just so i know whether to reinstall the game. Thanks.

This happens when you "press the butten for dignitaries" right? Highly likely this is due to mods, or maybe some mods you used in the past (some mods need to be deleted permanent manually). 1 question: it is just the income prediction which is affected? (income prediction could be faulty also....). And did you aalready TRY calculate IF you are actually loosing income..........?

Reinstalling won't do squat. As everything will eventually happen again :-)

I have no mods installed, only the Wrath of Sparta pack. The income prediction tallies with the sum i end up with next turn. I've got to assume it's a bug then.

No mods? Ok, as DLCs do not cause issues.
Well the only thing I can say: this is very strange. Are you sure you did not make a error in your calculation?

Anyway: this is not severely inhibiting you (like systems crashing) from playing the game, so all I can say is I hope you eventually solve your issue :-)

Doh, you're not talking specifically about WoS - never mind then. :)
