I understand what you MEAN, but... that IS what Steam is FOR.
Burning an extra calorie with a mouse click is hardly cause for concern, and as long as I research sufficiently and don't support games I consider junk, they don't really have any negative impact.
But Steam is definitely not the platform to sell unpolished high school computer class projects.
They aare held to a standard. It just isn't your standard. Keep that in mind. As is. The complaint about bad games is like complaining that a supermarket stocks a brand of non dairy ice cream you don't fancy. A normal person will just buy the ice cream brand that they like and ignore what they don't.
Others will feel outraged at the very existence of the offending tub of ice cream in the store and demand that it not be stocked.
Just remember in your calls to promote someone to be your online Nanny and decide which games you are allowed to buy and which ones you aren't, no one in the world will have the same tastes as you, so don't be surprised when things you considered good and interesting disappear because someone else didn't see any value in them.
Enough said.
As someone who played quite a few games on newgrounds, I have to disagree. Even some of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games I've seen are at least better looking than ng games.
