Can't send 4chan links anymore

Why did Valve make it so you can't send 4chan links anymore? Clicking links that come from the website doesn't infect your computer or anything, so why block it? Even links that come from worksafe boards are blocked. Valve pls fix.

Just get over it, man. If you want to host images there are dozens of places to do that. If you want to link to sites that are absolute cesspits of human scum, do it somewhere else.

You are mistaken as it has been filtered for years.

The site name has been filtered from almost the start but recently they gave the site a new address which enabled them to bypass the filter and it has been added as well.

The main reason the site is filtered is because of the massive amount of adult content on it.

Use another chat program to send links with that are filtered.

I've moved the block to the more appropriate word filter. We don't want to dictate what you send to your friends, although the URL blacklist is quite strict and blocks it everywhere on Steam.

In line with the original domain block, it's now only blocked on the forums.
