I thought about suggesting something like that. "The Secret World" actually labels dungeons as "5 player", so that would be a perfect fit.
However, the main game can be soloed; I'm assuming it works well enough with 2 players, maybe even 3 (although some quests have single player instances as well; I'm guessing everyone will have to do them separately). However, playing a solo-able game with 5 players probably won't be the best experience...
On the positive side, the way characters are built allows players to progress without the group without destroying group mechanics, at least to some extent.
Agree on dungeon crawlers, though. Torchlight II also falls into that category; games like these tend to scale well by just throwing more and stronger enemies at the group.
All of these are kind of meant to be a more "persistent" experience; people are meant to come back to venture deeper into the game.
Normal groups are limited to 4 Players or am i wrong?
