Youtube videos upload, but won't appear in Guide Builder

Background: I have linked my Youtube account to my Steam account. The videos are public and embedded enabled on Youtube. When I linked my accounts, all six videos showed up on the Steam interface. I selected all these videos and made them public.

Problem: When I go to build a Guide in the Steam Community, the video will not appear in the right hand sidebar. When I go back to my profile, all six video are displayed and available. But they are totally unavailable in the Guide building program.

I have a somewhat similar problem but its not with Guides.

My Steam account is linked with my YouTube and I do add vids to my Steam Profile and the vids don't show up on my Activity feed. I asked about this but I've received a roundabout answer like "backup your Steam games, uninstall Steam, reinstall Steam (still happening) back up your windows files, format your HDD, reinstall Windows, reinstall Steam".. so I think I'll just live with this hiccup.


I think it doesn't matter if you opted in or out of the Steam Client beta, you can still visit the forum and ask your question.

Do a search on the specific game and find the game hub, select game page "discussions" tab and ask the game hub community there (btw, the search field is on the upper left on this page)
