report their profiles for impersonating other users or attempted trade scam.
and move on.
I've seen imposters do it.
ive seen a few over the years. the site owners took them down pretty quick in the past.
Stick to the tradingsystem and guidelines made by Valve, and any other site is not important.

If you trade outside the system, you only have yourself to blame if you get scammed.
Gullible and greedy users is as guilty as the scammers, without them, there would be no reason for the scammers to be here.
there are no innocents that trade outside of steam. gifting items away for promises that never happen is not valves fault.
You don't have a problem with Steam, but with Steamrep, so take it to them.
