HOW TO: Reinstall Game in Steam.

I botched the files need to re-install. how to?

Delete the games from library and install again

Try verifying Game Integrity though may find games

delete isnt avail, says uninstall though. will it save game?

If the game has Steam Cloud, should be automatically available. If it is not available, then use a Removale Harddrive to copy the save files over

Don't uninstall, before you do that try to Right click the game, Propotise, Local files, Verfiy local files

It will make sure the files are all right, and re-download only what is needed

Ya Jonno I use the steam cloud save system.
Black, Im copying the whole folder first then Ill try your method, if that dont work, Ill un and re-install. wish me luck!
EDIT: veryifying was a good idea- didnt know that was even available-it found 4 bad files and is reloading them its over 3gb!, lol. better than 71gb whole game un & reinstall though-see if that fixes it.

YOU ARE GOD SENT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I was finding fixes for a long time I can't play the story mode and stuck. I even finish it without removing my mods I just hope it won't happen again. Thanks a lot!

The game I am playing is MHW Iceborne.
