How to set background at steam profile

How to set background at steam profile

I have this :

Just go to your profile, click Edit Profile, scroll down and u will find "Choose Background" And if u have some backgrounds in your Steam Inventory, then u can put them and to be like mine :D

Dont forget guys, that this is posted almost 2 years ago :D .

If u want backgrouds, u need to BUY them or TO CRAFT them, for each game :D

Well, if it's still in your Steam inventory, then you probably need to link them to your account before you can use them. Have you tried that?

Now i've found a way... When i received that, there wasnt that option in steam profile, so after small update, there was "Choose background" and wallaaaaaaa :D Tnx Valve for this once MORE :D

How do you get DOTA2 items? Do you have to play the game or can you just idle in the menus? :P

Do you mean Dota 2 CARDS? Because they're not the same thing as items (which usually refer to cosmetic equipment and the like).

But yes, you can drop cards for any games included in this new system by just launching the game and then go do something else. Although you're probably losing a great excuse to actually play said games ;) .

This is not what you're looking for, but just a heads-up, people are selling the background you have on Steam Market for 23usd. The reason it's so expensive is because it's a rare background. Also, the price is probably going to go down(not 100% sure) since it's going to be available to everyone soon(as in the trading cards).
