What are the chances I'd get a refund?
Bought Borderlands 3 Vanilla during Steam Sale, played 10 hours and loving it so far. I wish I had bought the Ultimate Edition (contains all the DLC) which is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than buying the Season Passes separately at this point.

I've contacted Steam (not a bot, but an actual person hopefully) explaining the situation that I want to refund this game so that I can buy the Ultimate Edition. They haven't gotten back to me yet. What do you think my chances are of being successful?

(I've played 10.8 hours, which I am aware is beyond the 2 hour limit but I've owned the game for less than 5 days)

Just to emphasize, I wish to refund my game not because I want to stop playing it. Rather, I want to rebuy the game with all its DLC in one package.

You can only refund a game if you are beyond 2 hours of play time total.

If buying the ultimate edition in it's entirely is cheaper than just buying the season passes is now, I believe you can delete borderlands 3 from your inventory (not getting your money back or anything) then buy the ultimate edition.

You can only get a refund for a game if your not beyond 2 hours of play time total.

Got a message from the agent at Steam Support, and to my surprise I managed to get the refund
(funds added to my steam wallet which is completely fine) despite my 10.8 hours!!! I got incredibly lucky with the agent who came across my support ticket. Currently own Borderlands Ultimate Edition now!

What really helped was explaining my situation and my intention of repurchasing the game but with the DLC packed in.

Gonna copy and paste what I wrote to the other dude in this comment thread...

Nvm see you got the refund. Support is far more willing to work with people than some posts let on. Typically reasons and just being polite can be the tipping point. Enjoy all them DLC :D
