Macbook air is a laptop designed to sacrifice power for size. Sometimes you can get away with it, and with the new steam refund system you can actually buy one, try it, and if it doesn't work right for you just request a refund. (note: you have 7 days to make the request and must have less than 2 hours of playtime).

I think you're out of luck though. I have a late 2012 mac mini and it runs fine, but my desktop system is also quite a bit more powerful than your laptop.
you can download a program called Mactracker, which is database for all things Apple and i checked a Mid 2010 13 inch 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo Penryn with Nividia 320M GPU and the performance rating is listed as 3375 and your MacBook Air 13inch mid 2013's 1.3 Ghz i5 performance rating is listed as 5946. So your Macbook is over 2x as powerful as a a Intel core 2 duo 2Ghz CPU. I think you should be about to run Those batman games fine. And your Intel 5000 GPU exceed the graphics requirement and don't forget your i5 1.3GHz CPU can turbo boost its self to 2.6GHz automatically when it determines when speed is needed.

you should be fine OP

Thanks guys for your advice! I might give it a try and if it doesn't work I will request refund. I don't know though how the refund system works.

Hi I have the exact same specs as you and I'm wondering if these games will run on my mac, so can I ask if you've tried it, and if it works? Thanks a lot!

Well I haven't tried batmans but I bought assassins creed later and find it to work very well, exept that very low framerate(about 25 fps)

Hey I just bought the game and tested it, it works perfectly fine! Tried the in-game benchmarking tool, everything runs smoothly except a slight bit of lag sometimes. So if you are still interested in the game, it's perfectly safe to buy!

How many fps do you get?
