the reason why it wont download is because the game is for windows, it was not made for Macs, their are many games that were not made for the Mac, if you want to know if a game can run on a Mac then scroll down to the title and you will see an emblem, Mac, Windows, or Linuxe, if it has an Apple Icon for that game then it runs on Mac

Well i also have a windows 7 so ill just play on that, i though it would be easier to download mods on a mac.

What are you talking about? Downloading on a mac is the same difficulty as on windows as the steam UI is almost identical on both platforms.

Well i have a mac and a windows 7 and it will only work on my windows 7.

Skyrim is only made for Windows, you cant download it for OS X simply because Skyrim for Mac doesnot exist.

Well technically speaking it does exist. You can run it easily using a WINE program such as Crossover, which is how I play it on my Mac.
