Steam doesn't load the games [Mac Os X]
Hello everyone.

2 days ago everything worked well. I just turned on iMac yesterday and for some reason it doesn't load any games. Firstly it shows in the status that I am playing game, then it disappears and shows the status "Online". For some games it gives a mistake's report. I tried to fix it somehow: deleted Steam fully with games, redownloaded one of them, I tried to delete some files to force Steam replace on new. I tried many stuff from the internet. But nothing helps.

For Portal 2 it gives me this:
Process: portal2_osx [1324]
Path: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/Steam/*/portal2_osx
Identifier: portal2_osx

Does someone can help me? Please :(

Hi Qwintess, sorry you’re encountering this issue. It’s caused by a problem with the overlay that is causing it to crash on macOS versions earlier than 10.11. I've fixed it in beta if you'd like to switch to it, otherwise it should be fixed soon in a hotfix to the public release.

If you haven’t used a Steam beta version before, there are instructions for switching to it that you can find here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7021-EIAH-8669
