Unfortunately no one can do much to help you. The only option would be to find a way to go back to 10.14. It's been known and widely discussed for over a year that 32-bit support was ending on Mac. So you can roll back to 10.14 and never update again, or learn to live with only 64-bit games.

He could also install Mojave on a new partition or external HD to boot from for all the games that used to run.

But yeah, this should not have been news to people this was going to happen given how much forewarning and alerts and news apple did about 32bit only apps. However it seems to have caught a lot of people off guard.

True, a partition would be a good option, but a lot of people buy Macs with the minimum amount of hard drive space, which can lead to very small partitions.

You were point blank warned by Apple during the upgrade process that Catalina would not run 32 bit apps. If you recall, the OS goes as far as to list all applications that are installed that will break before allowing you to click update. Your only option is to roll back.
The only thing apple did was make people flock to Windows and/or Linux.

No. This has been in the works for over a decade. What Apple has done by finally dropping 32-bit support is: improve the stability, improve the efficiency, decrease the size, remove roadblocks to future development plans, etc., etc., etc..

The only people you have grounds to be upset with are the developers that sat on their asses for a decade and didn't update their code. Even worse are the folks that wrote new code that was 32-bit only.
