(You pay an extra 1k for the OS to work, but it doesn't.... work)
None of this is an actual description of any problem you're having, and as such nobody will be able to help you. [/quote]
1. When clicking something it becomes highlighted.
2. Putting a cursor over a drop down menu will result in the menu to appear in a different location.
3. Sometimes typing doesn't work and some sort of short cuts are executed instead (like copy paste find etc)
seen this bug myself, easy workaround is to restart the Steam client. Usually it happens if I close a trade window while the mouse cursor is also above one of those menus.
Command key again.
It only happens on steam no where else
If your command key is reconized as being pressed by the OS, this will open your force quit menu. If it is just Steam that acts differently, nothing will happen.
Steam has been stable for me.
I had an issue for months, my system was very slow and I couldn't play videos in fullscreen, I also couldn't play videogames without my system becoming sluggish. It turned out my razer naga mouse's usb wire was bent so much at one end and it caused high cpu. Drawing in too much power and the buttons becoming hot. Had it for five years. I did't know until two days later when I attached a new mouse and look at my razer mouse wire that I found out it was a hardware problem. So unless you know for sure its steam don't assume. All that time I thought it was a macos update that made my system even slower.
Whenever that calamity happens, you can press "Esc" and Steam should snap out of that "select everything" mood. Or right click anywhere on the page (a context menu will appear) and then left click outside the menu to cancel it.
