CS:GO SDK Issues - FIXED
I've been digging through this forum and see that a lot of people have had problems with the Source SDK being broken recently and I've seen a lot of fixes for people to get mapping again for games like CS:S but I can't find any info for people having trouble with the CS:GO SDK.

Basically, I can launch it just fine but when I go to boot Hammer, I get an error saying:

"Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory
'D:\xxxdirectorypathxxx'

I looked in the directory it points me to and the file is right there! Refreshing the SDK content isn't an option as that button doesn't exist on the CS:GO SDK like it does on the Source SDK.

Any suggestions? :)

That's really weird as CSGO shouldn't have that problem at all (it's always been on steampipe). Have you tried verifying the files?

FIXED!

I went in to my "Counter-Strike Global Offensive\bin" folder and opened up gameconfig.txt (not gameinfo.txt in the "Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo" folder like the error suggests)

In the text file I saw this:

"GameDir" "D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo"
"Hammer"

So I changed it to this:

"GameDir" "D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo"
"Hammer" "D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\bin\hammer.exe"

And it is now working fine. Just thought I would update this thread in case anybody else had this issue :)
