Server Port 27015?
I have my server up and working, but outside world cannot see it... Unable to connect to port 27015? Comcast says that nothing is being blocked. I can telnet internally, but not externally to my LAN. Any ideas? trying to host dedicated insurgency server?

Looks like you lack a port forwarding config.

Are you talking about on the server... My internet connection is commercial, and no ports to forward from the router.. All are open. I have no router between the server and the router. Running Windows 2008 Server, any advice on that?

You only have this computer on the network? The machine picks up the external ip?
What model of your router/modem?

I have a bunch of computers on it, but keep in mind that I run static IP's.. There is no router between the computer and the cable interface box. That computer has a public IP address.

If you have multiple computers on your network, you must have a router somewhere, if the machine picks up the real and external ip, the problem is in the machine.
What type of connection is? Model of the modem?
Try to use this tool, it check if your settings are correct.

Settings are correct.. Get a message "Port 27015 is open on 173.12.236.114." But the server is still not being picked up by steam?

Is there anything I have to do on the steam side to get them to see or display the server????

I do not know, never created server for this game.
But as far as I know the source servers, this is sufficient al.
If you are receiving this message, all is right in the NAT, must be some config at own game server.

I think I may have stumbled onto the problem.. NAT was turned on the Comcast interface box.. I now think I am down to config issues... Turned out COMCAST goofed when they installed my equipment... But then again, who would be surprised at that little fact. :)

COMCAST was the entire issue.. Having commercial internet, they accidentally left the NAT turned on, this prevented most ports from being visible from the outside world. Thanks to all of assisted me with this, and I hope this may help someone else in the future...

FYI, turning off NAT on your router is a really bad solution. You could just put your LAN IP in the DMZ for the same effect - also not a good idea!
