i'm trying to update my gmod dedicated server but i got this error:

idk why this happened because this didn't happen before

are you doing that manually ?
try doing it on one line

steamcmd.exe +login anonymous +force_install_dir "..."

yes, and sadly the command didn't work

update: i'm so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid, turns out i have to type force_install_dir BEFORE i type login anonymous
