steam deck downloads faster than pc on same wifi
my wifi speed is about 300 MBPS, when i download something on my steam deck it'll download around 200MBPS which seems fitting, but when i download on my pc its only 50 MBPS, its not windows link speed, steam deck and pc use the same steam server (US MAIMI), i've changed the dns and that did nothing, its the same speed on my hardrive or ssd so i dont think thats the limiter, i have a good enough pc, the cpu is a ryzen 5700g so i doubt its that, all steam throttling settings are off, i turned on download when playing games just incase too, i dont get it, anyone know?

Check the link speed on wifi network stats
Windows Settings (Win + I) > Network and Internet > Advanced Network Settings.
Something like this:

Note that steam deck is 802.11ac, which means up 1.3Gbps (theoretically) data rate, maybe your wifi network card on computer only supports up to 802.11n which is basically the "cap" you are having (600Mbps)

I just checked and it says 865 mbps, that should be more than fast enough right?

Yep..
wifi has a ton of settings and factors that can influence the final actual connection speed - too many to really narrow it down, but most likely it is your PCs wifi hardware / driver settings that are causing it.

idk i updated the drivers im aware off at least, i dont think the hardware it self would be the limiting factor but maybe, would the hardware affect ookla speed test thing cause if so i still get 300 mbps on the test on my pc
