Can't connect to localhost CS:GO SRCDS
Hi, I want to set up small private cs:go server but I unfortunately can't do it. I have installed steamcmd and srcds through it and when I run it with this param list:
srcds -game csgo -console -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_active +map de_dust2 +sv_setsteamaccount <HEREISMYTOKEN> +ip 192.168.1.42
(with IP being my local network IP)
i can't connect.

I am behind router and I have forwarded port needed for srcds, I also tried to temporarily disable firewall but nothing helped. I can't connect with IPs "127.0.0.1", "192.168.1.42" nor my public IP.

Console shows nothing after something like "connection to steam servers established. instance <something>" and it seems that the connection try doesn't even reach it.

Dunno about csgo specifically, but some times, the steam matchmaking prevent us from connecting using local address..
Did you try using your public (external) ip address?

What routers did you have? External people can connect?
Well, I already fixed it...
The problem was probably clientport. I changed it and then forwarded it and now I can connect.
Now I must only figure out how to install sourcemod, as it doesn't work... :/
