Steamcmd Mod Download

Is there a direct way to download these mods from steam cmd without complicated script? I can post the mods I'm looking to download from the ark workshop (and its quite a few). If anyone can please give me a hand on this. I like to know what I'm putting into my own script instead of just copying one offline (hackers place script just to get their way in and I do not trust much).
