Shin Megami Tensei
I'm planning to buy a portable system, I'm choosing either the Nintendo 3DS or PSP; but my sole interest iiis to play lots of Shin Megami Tensei Games and other RPG titles. Which one would you reccomend me?

If that were me I'd honestly opt for the Nintendo 3DS there as I had a PSP myself and wasn't all that satisfied with it. It had a lack of games for one thing.

A humble recommendation as recommended by me.

Nintendo is and always was the leader in portable gaming.

Well, you can emulate a fair few PSP games, and I'm pretty sure Persona 1 and 2 (the only translated SMT games on PSP) can be emulated. Neither are very fun to play, but 2 does have a great story.

You're probably better off going with a 3DS.

No, there was a version of Persona 3 called Persona 3 Portable, it featured a unique story in the form of a female character. (No, not Aigis)

I was debating this a while ago OP, and I went with a PS Vita. In my opinion, the Vita has the better selection of JRPGs and the whole Persona series. (Plus on PS Vita you can get Persona 4 Golden, one of the best games I've ever played) I know it may cost a lot right now, but give it a few months, its a much better investment IMO for hundreds of hours per Persona game, and I do not regret playing any of them.

Oh right, I forgot about P3P. Meh. Gameplay was just as boring as 1 and 2 and yet the story was also uninteresting. No wonder I forgot about it.
I thought most of the SMT/Persona series was on PS2.

PSP has Persona 1-3, with the 3DS you get Strange Journey, Devil Survivor 1 and 2 (DS), Devil Survivor Overclocked and SMT4.

Legitimate releases, mind you. Custom firmware PSP has access to a lot more SMT games.
