Why do people hate E.T so much?

Mostly due to how big the hype behind it was, only to be a disappointment so huge it crashed the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game market.

Yes. Very bug ridden too. Sometimes the mother ship never showed up at all. So easy to die and fall down pits, ect.

Not many of them game breaking.

Those 3-5 bugs in E.T. were game breaking.

Trying to find facts in something that is compleatly opinion based isn't going to work for your argument either. The consensus amung the gaming industry is that E.T. is the worst, reguardless of how you may want to prove otherwise.

Cheetahmen 2, i will tell you every damn problem in that game
*The graphics are straining to the eyes
*The music causes you to go insane
*The controls are slippery and make you die easily
*The enemy placement make death 75% likely
*The game has glitchy graphics
*The game runs very laggy
*The cartridge makes a burnt smell when the nes its in is on for to long
*Level 3-4 have a glitch where you can moonjump
*The sound-effects are glitched up and dont work some times
*If you jump from a height you will die, something that NEVER happens in a 2D Side Scroller
*In level 4 when you kill the Ape-Man, you cant kill yourself, go to the next leve lor anything
-same thing if he goes offscreen
*The bosses as easy as crap
*You have to do a tricky glitch, where you have to reset the game fidget with the cartridge long enough to go to the last levels, which are identicle to the first Cheetahmen 1 levels
*If you kill the final boss (who is underwhelming) y=guess what?! your in limbo again!!

Well Cheetahmen 2 doesnt really deserve to be on any ♥♥♥♥ game list. Because it was never released for sale or anything. But Big rigs over the road racing is actually even more unplayable than E.T and Cheetahmen 2. That game got nothing working.

How about micro mike on action 52, it was made wrong, it is 100% unplayable and 50% unplayable with cheats

Doesn't matter. Like I said, it is something based on opinion. The industry has said that E.T. is the worst game and it shall remain, reguardless of your opinion.

You obviously have not played E.T. either and are using other people's opinions to argue with. Good luck with that.

ive played it, it is mediocre, ive played action 52 i was crying by the 11th game
