Anyone seen this new game that is coming out? They are also bringing out a TV show at the same time. So when a new episode comes out, they will also update the game :)

The game is free to play, but you need to do a one off payment for the game client because the game is also on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and they need to pay for the game.

Like when you buy any normal game on the PC e.g. Call of Duty, you buy it then play.

i really want this game on steam and if the dev is reading this...CONVINCE VALVE TO GET IT ON STEAM , NOT GREENLIGHT , A PUBLISHED GAME.

Somes like a Dev. I was going to get the game but I read an article on it in PC gamer. It's a borderlands clone without a real identity. It looks avarge at best. What turned me down was that the whole world is all murky ugly earth toned colors everywhere.

But it isn't free to play, it's a one time entry fee plus microtransaction and DLC, that's not free, it just lacks a subscription which isn't that impressive considering that most shooters don't require one. I honestly don't see the game doing all that well, it would need to be on hell of a shooter to compete with the actual free to play market.

Guild Wars 2 does the same thing. I don't see the problem with it. It costs money to keep up those servers, give you 24/7 customer service, free content updates, etc.

If it was a pay to play game I would agree. But it isn't.

You can't expect them to continue supporting the game without a cash shop can you? Months after a game releases sales fall dramatically and they need revenue.

As long as it isn't pay to win what is the problem? No one complains about Guild Wars 2 doing this.

Most shooters don't require one because most shooters aren't MMOs. This is a MMO.

I'm skeptical of the game itself and will wait to see if the game is any good. I do like the idea but something looks off to me.
