Scary Games

hey guys i'm looking for really scary games. so i'm not good with scary stuff so i figure it would be pretty funny to watch me so whats the scariest game you've played on steam. ($15 or less because i don't have too much money right now)

Then how did I get Amnesia in my library or the Penumdra series? Hmmm? Better yet, how did I get the FEAR trilogy too. I guess these scary games just magicly appeared in my Steam library. Oh look! They are in the Steam store as well. Funny, you just said there are no scary games in Steam.

Ok so I'll help you as best as I can. I'll name off some games I love to play though I can't run Amnesia as of right now because of my graphics card. I've been playing horror games for years. I can't even find a game that scares me anymore.It's impossible for me to be scared in a game and am in wait for the one game that gives me the feeling of horror once more... I've got ideas for one but not the skill to create one..

Ok back on topic now...

Lone Survivor is a sidescrolling 16-bit psychological horror game.

Some more are Penumbra series, and Cold Fear. I'll hunt for more...

I know it's not on Steam but you can try some games on Desura. They have some free horror games like One Night. It's a 16-bit survival horror RPG.

Slender? Ewww. Slender is so last year. But if you like Slender, I guess you can head over to GoodOldGames.com. There is a new Slender game called Slender: The Arrival, I believe.
