i could go on and on and on with recommendations hahaha. but hopefully i am thinking, this will fill your viewing needs for a time
Yep.
Well first is good and scary. Nightmare stuff.
all of Hellraisers because i always loved Clive Barkers novella.
on the more cheesy side, the Terrifier is a must just for the low budget feeling of it.
Coppola's Dracula because it's a classic for me.
but i also like low budget indie productions, like the ones presented in Dread Central or Horror Central, small movies like 10-20 minutes tops.
Thx for the huge list! There are lot I haven't seen. Some of them I have though like Evil Dead, Train to Busan, The Shining, The Thing. Suspiria and Saint Maud where too slow/boring and I couldn't finish them. I keep trying to watch Suspiria though bc I keep seeing it recommended. I think I've tried like 3 times and just can't, lol.
Oh I forgot about this one. I seem to recall reading that the 2nd one is better than the first? I haven't seen either.
Yeah, I like Event Horizon a lot and the 1st Hellraiser. There is a Hellraiser remake right? I forgot about that until you mentioned it.
yeah the 2022 one, but idk it felt distant if that makes sense. i liked it as a whole but i prefer the '87 version
of course! i actually thought of some more if youd like them lol.

- inside (also known as À l'intérieur, not american remake)
- piggy
- infinity pool
- hostel (not part 2, kinda meh)
- grotesque
happy horror watching!
If you want a slow horror and more psychological found footage I'd recommend Lake Mungo. Cloverfield if you like big monsters.
agreed. after vhs viral (which i am considering to be the worst of the series personally, only story i liked was the satanic alternate world one), i was not having high hopes for more.
but the following entries have been great, the series has really found many impressive short horror story directors. definitely great horror anthology series!
