Have you seen gpu prices, they can't make it for less.
Its why they are just doing mid cycle refreshes now for xbox.
Yup,all those years ago I was upset. But that was then, this is now. Pure indifference to Sony now that those games found a home to pc
But SONY, being a typical Asian boomer-run company, doubled down on stupid and "the old ways" and keeps trying to push people to their "sold at a loss" consoles for some reason thinking it is still the 1990s or early 2000s.
It wasn't until recently that Sony started slowly releasing certain mainline games on PC markets.
Since that's all they're doing exclusives are a benefit.
Sony is Californian now
God of War was their Mario but only Mario is Mario cause those quicktime cryptic button presses could spoil the game if you werent expecting it or were distracted. Mario always plays the same.
They did well with Horizon Zero Dawn if you managed to read the story tidbits.
But even their Final Fantasy XIV just went a bit too far in presentation and special moves using combo presses for the characters when you knew it would be a long slog.
Also size of the hard drive once you maxed it less inclined to buy more games at least for me.
Could be when their service closes down for PS4 wont be able to download anything that didnt fit.
PS5 was its own debacle and didnt move me one way or the other. As too many consoles competing for space and time, cartridge/disc fed relics that simply need to be unplugged.
But I have bought a few sony products. I imagine most people can't justify the cost. They make nice machines though, just too top of the line ends up being very expensive to buy retail.
Can't remember what year Bayonetta won game of the year on PC. But it was many years after it was already on consoles and a sequel was made.

The only Sony franchise worth it's salt nowadays is God of War.
I remember unraveled being exclusive but now it's on everything.
Grand Tarrismo is also less of a Simcade game and closer to Sim than forza is.
Should have on disk my friend. The Space is for retro games. Sony has been a lot better than nintendo at keeping their online store running.. Nintendo shuts them down, than you can't load up on retro games after the fact. I'd get a refurbished ps4 if i ever felt inclined finally play the last of us, uncharted, maybe try final fantasy. If I can find a guy selling most of that used for cheap. If ps5 gets a MGS exclusive it would really help it. Maybe I'd try God of War if I was ever bored enough. I know it's good, but never was compelled to play it.
Unless you really like final fantasy I can't see someone buying a playstation every generation. Just like I wouldn't buy an xbox just to play halo.
But again Sony keeps their online services running on Ps3 even. So for something like fighting games playstation would beat the PC everytime. It's also easier to setup on a TV when friends are over.
