I would suggest getting a pre-build one if you have never built one before.
They can't offer you more then that one day? Try and talk to them about it.
48€ doesn't sound too bad for one say or work. That is about $64 usd. If you sacrifice and save, you should be able to get it in a few months.
Trust me. It is far more satisfying to save and buy it your self, then to have others do it for you. It is also all yours so others don't have as much say in what you do with it.
You can also see if you have anything you can sell to other people. I've made $100-$200 usd (74.21€-148.42€) from a yard sale before.
Plus it will show your mother how determined you are, and that you took the initiative to do it yourself. She will be proud of you, and you will have the satisfaction of owning up to the situation, and that you did it yourself. No better feeling than that.
Or build a cheap 4 core APU system for now and ask for a nice GPU as a grad present.
