Why is my processor fan screaming?

Every time my computer is on for more than 40 minute my processor cooler starts making louder noises than usual and sometimes I can literally hear it processing things, like I’ll scroll down and the pitched noise from the fan literally matches what I’m doing.

Really hope there’s a fix for this, not because I’m worried about the pc but I’m worried I’ll get tinitius.

Don't think the paste is going to help with that, your processor fan starts working harder because of some power and cooling policies of your PC, the limit is probably set low to prevent damage, so when your PC reaches a certain amount of activity, the fan will work like that.

I recommend these options:
1. Adjust BIOS and OS settings to prevent fan speeding up too fast. (This is risky so make sure to monitor your system for some time and also use the paste beforehand.)
2. Change the fan and use a different model. Even tho some may spin as fast, they will make less noise. This is the best option.

Considering your specs, it would take a really heavy professional program to make its CPU fan spin so fast, so I'm suspecting you have malware/miner or a virus causing this.

I lube up my ball bearings for hot steamy action... sometimes there are no longer ball bearings there so I just lube up my drive to the only fans.

if you have a radiator blow it out with can of air or low psi compressor, blow all the dust out of every where you can.

The stock fan on the Pentium 4 3ghz processor sounded like a jet engine. It was just woefully inadequate for the amount of heat that processor put out. I suffered with that the whole time I owned it and I really just needed to drop like $20 or $30 on an aftermarket cooler.

You could always just try a different cooling fan. Noctua makes quiet fans.
