For real tho, if I was a leader of a country I would just go and help another country and then leave it in good condition, no strings attached, they keep their resources that are being used for developing their lands and stuff for the good of their country and still be called a filthy colonialist. :/

Here in the UK we do have issues, mostly down to incomptent governance and years of destroying the working class. But you can't seriously put us up there above so many others with equal or worse problems.

I agree with crunchyfrog, the UK does have issues but I must also say it's one of the most safest countries in the world. You can walk down the street and not be hassled by the police, you won't disappear in the middle of the night, you have opportunities to become what you want to be, there are safely nets for people such as welfare, healthcare, childcare. Clearly, they are deep rooted issues in britain that need sorting out, just takes will power and strong leadership is sadly lacking.

I guess most of these people criticising are those that watch crap like Fox News and think that because we made a couple of ♥♥♥♥ ups legilstively with prosecuting Count Dankula, then it's a nightmare hellhole. That's obvious nonsense as our laws about free speech aren't markedly different.

For myself I live in boring rural Lincolnshire. Nothing much goes on here but on the other hand, we still have that nicety where you don't have to bother locking your doors at night even.

Suppose to be nice down there. I say down there because I live in greater manchester which is basically a crap hole of place to live. We have some nice places too up here tho, but we have many social issues and problems here due to race, cultural, youth and poverty.
