"Do you have any yourself?"
"I assume all Vegans need pills!"
Goalposts be moving fast today.
that really goes for anyone
i am not vegan,
but i know my diet is not enough and i take vitamins
https://www.freshnlean.com/blog/vegan-b12-sources/
Here's one of several lists of vegan foods that give proper B12. Sweeping statements of "all vegans" are inaccurate.
https://www.karger.com/Article/Abstract/176565
Actual research on % of different vegan/vegetarian subsects that have vitamin deficiency. Notice how it isn't 100% of them for any category.
Doesn't address your goalpost shift though.
I'm tackling YOUR claim and not believing it. Your claim was that it's popular among stupid people. All I need to do is show you ANY people who aren't stupid and the fact they've been veggie for years and are the things the OPPOSITE of your claim.
That's how basic logic works.
And as for the other claims on here about lacking vitamins and so on - demonstrable ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ again. I'm not sure what part of the people I work with who I pointed out are fit and healthy and older than me in my fifties and been veggie all their life, you don't grasp.
Again all this seems to be based on you reading some weird reddit page or something. I'm afraid the world doesn't work like that. You might want to look outside your own borders as there are whole countries that have alrge mostly veggie diets and so on. It's almost like there's many people who make a world.
i eat meat, but i will not eat the reproductive organs of an animal or babies
just my personal prefs
i won't lie and say i never played around, though
i used to post recipes for endangered animals on the peta forums
here you are again spouting misinformation...
fortified foods mean you don't need pills, I don't take pills and I've been vegan since 4 years old.
so its not a fact at all.
Your claim is opinion, my "claim" is fact.
Livestock is given b12 ( as well as other ) supplements because of constant tilling of soil, it no longer contains enough natural microbes. So it's not really an animal product per se.
Obviously they recommend vegans take b12 supplements, because store bought vegatables and foods are grown in non ideal soil conditions. If you eat bread I think alot of it is fortified, but I'm not 100% I don't eat it.
You could grow your own vegetables and get more soil microbes that way, obviously not everyone has that possibility.
I'm not a vegan I eat anything, but the subject is interesting to me, anyway
YOur claim is not fact as you haven't demonstrated empirical evidence to back yours up. Your claim is the same as mine - assertion based on evidence.
Now demonstrate that ALL veggies need these supplement pills to take when I can tell you that elderly veggies I know a lot of do not.
Maybe we have it better in Britain, maybe you just don't know that fortified foods exist across ALL foods. Ever eaten cereal?
