Just saw the new Alien Romulus today.

It was good. But didn't have any new aliens except a human & xenomorph hybrid.

The ending was the same as every other Alien film, I am saying this because If you watched every Alien film you should expect that.

The ending for Covenant was the same. Only main character woman manages to escape.

I'm interested in it as a lifelong fan of those films but yeah, the series ends pretty much the same for all books and movies. Kinda has to, i guess. Would be a rather boring story if everyone had everything right and just killed all the xenomorphs before the cast was whittled down.

Every 'Alien' movie is a cash grab. But I suppose you could say that about every other movie. It doesn't even convey a message or have an artistic aesthetic to it. It's just another Alien movie that brings nothing to the table. I had high hopes for Prometheus but Covenant ruined it for me.

Decent by today's standards. But terrible in comparison with the first two.
