Pod Living!
Most of you probably struggle with rent. So there is a great alternative, pod living!

Living in a pod can offer several advantages, depending on the context and design:

Affordability: Pods are generally more affordable than traditional housing, making them an attractive option for those looking to reduce living costs.

Sustainability: Many pod designs focus on being environmentally friendly, using fewer resources and reducing the carbon footprint compared to larger homes.

Efficiency: Pods are often designed with efficient use of space in mind, maximizing functionality in a compact area.

Minimalism: Living in a pod encourages a minimalist lifestyle, which can lead to less clutter and a focus on essential belongings.

Mobility: Some pod homes are portable, allowing residents to move easily and live in different locations without the hassle of selling or renting a traditional home.

Community Living: Pods are often part of larger communities or developments, fostering a sense of community and shared resources.

Urban Living: In cities with high housing demand, pods can offer an affordable way to live in desirable locations without the high costs of larger apartments or homes.

Lower Maintenance: Smaller spaces require less upkeep, making pod living ideal for those who prefer a low-maintenance lifestyle.

Privacy: Pods can offer a personal space in communal living situations, giving individuals a sense of privacy while still being part of a larger community.

Innovative Design: Pod living often features modern, innovative designs that can make small spaces feel comfortable and functional.

I don't get it.
Basically anyone who specializes in mental health, knows that small spaces for living quarters, can have negative effects on mood, development if young, and will increase anxiety and frustration with the small space when you need more space.

It's a bad idea, unless your brain can somehow not develop adhd in cramped areas.

NO! Get in your pod!
I don't mind the idea. Same with staying in PC Cafes. I could live like this of required to do so. I have always lived put of a single room studio style. A pod just means communal shower and toilet which isn't ideal bur it's OK.

When you need more space, you just go outside. It’s not that you’re trapped in your pod like in a prison cell.

By your definition people living in trailer parks and people living in japan must have mental issues due to the lack of living space.

But no. For people without family who live an active life, it’s a great idea.

And the low maintenance effort and cost would make me even consider it, if pods were more common here.

I am thinking of something even smaller.
instead of dying and lying in a full sized coffin.
for living.

Sorry sir, but i think you have over-invented something that already exist. None or your following arguments could sell me a pod over a tent. Yes, your arguments are good for tents, not houses.

vampires do that i think, i don't think i could survive in a coffin without having the power and strength of a real, well-nourished vampire because if someone kicked the nail in i wouldn't be able to get out.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution did this.
When I first played Yakuza 0, I was surprised at how tiny Majima's apartment was. Like, 40 square feet or so, literally. But when you think about it, assuming the rent is next to nothing, it totally works in Sotenbori. It's like a quarter of a mile walk to pretty much anything you could want to do, so why would you spend a lot of time at home anyway?
i like the idea of building community... but i would want a pod that
had a sitting space for my pc setup as well as a bed which would require
the pod to be a bit bigger... but then again with a good community..
your pod would just be for sleep in amongst doing the life stuff

I will not live in the pod.
I will not eat the bugs.
Oi! i think he's callin us lads dirty podda's! lets break his legs fellas!
