Seriously? This is worse than when Ballmer was in charge.
this is where sadly but firmly
people start to make certain 3rd party sites and apps to by pass all that red sticker tape and exhorbant fees
M$ want to do 1-3 year releases of a "New OS".
They know gamers are one of the biggest draws so they will tie it to running the "newest" games on whatever arbitrary "Direct X Update" they release.
ALL games need to be made with VULKAN support as standard to get away from the "Direct X" crap.
Klaus Schwab at the WEF and all the evil politicians and corporations that are a part of it WANT you to "Own Nothing" and for everything in life to be "Subscription Based".
And like i asked before you posted, how much considering the current costs i displayed is that sub going to be and what unnecessary costs will that mean for processing not once but 12 times a year for not only businesses but banks ?
Also how is it not anti competition if other retailers cant sell licences/keys like they currently do ?
skip ads with bios boot subscription
So what's stopping Micro$oft to taking it one step further? Might as well go full Konami pseudo-casinos while at it.
My guess on this is that they will force people down two routes. You either accept adverts or you pay a monthly fee.
I have no doubt though that it will start a war between the users and Microsoft, creating new and inventive ways to block adverts and ways to bypass those blocks.
Most people haven't paid for their copy of Windows.
This is always what the Start menu was for and the reason you couldn't get rid of "Recommended".
I am pretty sure that once Microsoft start using this, there will be ways to block it.
*laughs in Pi-Hole*
Most will just pay the new 100 euro sub a year
So you PAY for your computer and then you'd have to pay to use windows?!? Yikes...
If it goes in that direction I could see it starting with only being a sub for new updates.
