I've tried to collect the SBI controversy...
Before I begin, please don't harass anybody that's mentioned in this post; it's not cool.

We start off at the beginning of a steam user called KABRUTUS from Brazil; he made a steam curator and group called Sweet Baby Inc detected, seems simple enough. But this whole controversy can be best summarized by the Streisand effect, where a person tries to hide, remove, or even censor anything that can spell bad news for them, but the opposite happens and backfires and increases information about something that a person attempts to remove. An SBI employee, Chris Kindred, falsely accused the group and curator of being a "harassment group"—their words, not mine. He tells his followers to "report the ♥♥♥♥ out of this group" and "report the creator since because he loves his account so much," their words again, not mine. Even though telling your followers to "report the creator" is considered targeted harassment, and the steam curator didn't break any TOS, a simple Google search and/or a YouTube video will add some context to this. And that seriously backfired; many people started to follow the curator and join the steam group, and as of now, the curator's followers have been increased to 281,498 and are still going up. And then gaming journalists ran damage control, and it backfired as well, and now they've been crying wolf and saying Gamergate 2 is coming. How well do you think I've collected this information?

Gamergate 2.0 has already passed. wtf are they on about?

I mean, sure, by my estimation, they'll still keep whining about it in the media for 1 or 2 more years, but it's already far beyond over. That crowd has already moved on.

I guess those bloggers just can't help themselves but piss off large groups of gamers that, in turn, tell them they're a bunch of idiots. On that end it may look the same as GG.

That seems pretty comprehensive to my knowledge of the situation
