And I used to have my desk in a room with a wood floor and I had a little rug that was under my desk (where my feet would be), much more comfortable than just resting ur feet on the cold wood floor while sitting at your desk
If you don't like that option, there are a number of storage options that have a small footprint and are designed specifically for smaller rooms, maybe have a look at those alternatives.
I agree, I find the bog standard office chairs to be more comfortable and better for long periods than the fancier and more expensive options.
He set it up to look like Frylock. All the cables go up like the fries. It's pretty amazing looking.
The more you add, the harder it is to keep a style.
Have one I look at all day of a waterfall in the woods during fall with the red leaves all around.
Big one at 10ft tall and 12ft wide, but they come in all sizes. You can even have your own photos put on wallpaper for murals.
Another option, as I found murals expensive, is to paint. Bedroom has a nice blue sky with sun and clouds. This can also make it quite unique beyond letting you choose the most comfortable colors for you.
Yeah.
1000's of years ago, when this happened, I use to go into these shops (They were typically stores contained in what was once called a "mall") and I would look and then buy the games I wanted to play. Sometimes these stores had something called "Swag" that you could get. Other times, the games themselves came with neat stuff.
I bring this up for a reason. I have kept some of my old games from the late 80's and early 90's. I have taken some of that swag and promotional material and used it to decorate my office/game room/man cave.
I have framed the large poster of the Capital Ships, Starfighters, Characters, Special Forces, and Trooper Regiments for Star Wars: Rebellion. And I have to say, it looks good! I have a bookcase with a ton of good books, but on the bottom shelf, it has all the boxed PC games I still owns. I plan on getting a display case and make some type of display for my copy of DOS 1.1, and I still have the original box and book that came with it.
That is how I decided to decorate my room. My daughter, however, has gone a different way. I have seen plenty of YouTubers who have really nice setup's in their place.
It all depends on what you want. Don't let others dictate to you how you should decorate. The room should be an expression of you, not the Steam forums.
Oh and the other problem with minimalist styles... cable management. Cables everywhere.
