How many IQ points is required to watch Rick and Morty?
I always wanted to watch this show but lots of people say you gotta be really smart to understand the humor. As someone with an IQ of 73, what are the minimum requirements to watch this show?

Juding from this thread it's beyond your reach, as most things.

The more important question is, how many points can you lose and still be OK by watching it?

2+, the humor comes from rubbing your brain cells together and the existence of stimuli is usually enough to accomplish this.

At least 30.

At least enough to know that they are the Anti-Doc Brown and Marty, maybe.

Why do some people act like IQ is everything? :steamfacepalm:

Kingbot is sensitive about its lower IQ score and goes out of its way to make IQ tests toxic and dysfunctional, and Ron believes it's the single most important thing you should know about yourself while Carl believes you should live in spite of it (which requires you knowing what it is first, so you can spite it and/or yourself with your every action.)

I mean, it's not perfect or anything but it's a far cry from the dumb people of the Internet's insistence that "it means less than nothing."

Somewhere below 60.
And I don't mean that as the minimum requirement.
Angry Gandalf 17/out./2023 às 6:07
I guess 80-90?
Most of R&M watchers are dumb as hell so I don't see how that relates?

It's also worth mentioning, that the current generation has a very low avg IQ to begin with so Idk. It's just TV, what do you expect?

The first 3 seasons were pretty good. The writers did a good job with the Citadel of Ricks story arc.

But after that they became unhinged and just produced lots of crap.
Yes to all of this

I mean, it's a mere cartoon, not the "Critique of Pure Reason".

Minecraft or above required

If you don't understand the deeper meaning of Rick's catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub", you are sadly too low IQ.

Thanks guys, I've decided that I'm not smart enough to digest the content Rick and Morty has to offer. As stated by the last poster, "wabba lubb dub dub" sounds like a bunch of nonsense to me, I can't even grasp the comedy and humor on such a simple phrase, let alone the writing of the show, this is a clear sign that I'm not on the levels to enjoy this show. I'll stick to watching The Amazing World of Gumball instead.

Thank you all that took your time to help me with this doubt.
