"Ad Blockers are not allowed on Youtube" nonsense
If anyone got this message on youtube, you can ignore it completely. I bet they'll eventually force you to disable your adblocker, but it's not being enforced yet.

Yeah, even Adblock Ultimate and uBlock Origins is triggering it.
You'll probably have to use something like invidious if they do crack down.

I don’t use ad blocker. What is the fuss about? Are people going to jail for avoiding ads?

Youtube wants more money by forcing people to get Youtube premium.

I saw where people were saying that you can ignore the warning in the beginning, but there is a limit, so after so many warnings, you won't be able to watch videos anymore. From what I gather from researching online, you can bypass it currently by just not signing into YouTube.

I have a weird feeling that eventually YouTube will pull a Twitter/X situation where they will say that people have to log in to watch videos, and that way they can enforce their no adblocker rule and try to coerce people into paying for premium.

Honestly, I personally don't care what they do because there are other places that aren't as censored, like Rumble, Bitchute, Odysee, and so on.

As for 15/10/2023 I did not get such "nonsense" you are describing... :V
My add blocker work again after a few days. But yeah it obvious that they continue to try and stop them from working.

It's being rolled out slowly; some people got their warnings months ago, and I actually just started getting the warnings today.

Yeah, I am not turning off my adblockers. I can't stand ads.

Yeah, a competitor to youtube will probably pop up that doesn't have ads.

They're angling to deal with adblockers via chromium and stripped down manifest v3 for plugins.

it will get to you eventually. it opens up regionally. south-east europe was among the first regions worldwide to start doing this. i got the usual warnings that could be dismissed 2 or 3 months ago and i started having to whitelist the site 1 month ago +-. invidious all the way.

If YouTube wants me to stop using adblockers, that's fine. I'll just downvote a pro-MSM video's comment section for every ad I have to watch, which will eventually cause those channels to bleed bot subscribers and get demonetized.

It's not a "coordinated downvote bombing campaign", it's a peaceful protest.
