I taste the plastic in the bottled water.. after a while you get used to it
Good spring water has its own taste. Different springs actually can taste slightly different.
Tap water either has chlorine or fluoride in it.
I can still taste it. Use it for cooking as the chlorine boils off, fluoride won't. Glad the tap water up here is chlorine.
What you mostly taste in water is the metals and mineral compositions in it. That could be a good or bad sign of the quality water.
