Godzilla Theory
I have a theory that if Godzilla were to RIP ASS while attacking a city, that because he's so radioactive, gas moves so quickly, and there'd be so much, that it'd move fast enough to kill everyone in the city before he could.

Godzilla walks forwards destroying everything in his path... so even if it was lethal gas its all behind him where everyone is already dead.
