Stop killing games UK parliament debate tomorrow 3rd nov.
Remember that guy who looked like a human klingon that had a campaign to stop game devs or publishers shutting down your games.
The UK petition for it got loads of sigs so they have to talk about in their parliament tomorrow.
You can see it on their youtube channel on the link but I think there is another upload somewhere.
Their response on the actual petition was totally retarded.

My developed games are banned in only 32 countries, maybe this will increase that number.

charles barkley dating simulator. you play as charles barkley, and all the available partners are also just charles barkley. you have romantic dinners court side at the basketball games, a little 1 on 1 at the gym, three pointers only. and it culminates in falling deeply in love and then going on to stop BLOODMOSES and their nefarious schemes.

I watched it.

Sounds like they are just going to force game developers to put a disclaimer on their games saying that they can go offline. Kinda dumb. I hope thats not it.

Starmer : "Let me lecture you all on how you should all behave and here is some more propaganda on Digital ID and because of this all games will now require you to have an AI / SMART TV to scan you and to verify you are allowed to play this game.

For your own good. "

Yeah I don't want the UK or EU to back SKG anymore, they'll find a way to backdoor digital ID into it somehow. The only good part of a real SKG success would be so that you can get more games DRM-free (official or otherwise) completely offline to avoid digital ID, and I'm sure they thought of that, they want more forced online reliance not less exactly bc of this so I don't have high hopes for much good coming out of it.

Their response on every petition, even if it gets 10M+ votes, is NEVER about "considering" or "looking into it", their response always sounds like "Didn't read. No." as if there was no debate had at all. There's a few words that describe governments that just constantly ignore the votes of people... I don't think that any petition under this gov that has had the most votes has actually gone through.

Considering that parliament reply, I bet none of these idiots ever fully read an EULA before.

the awesome power of direct democracy
UK Parliament responses are a joke

"Petition to stop X"
Government response: "We are going ahead with X"

yeah nah, it doesn't mean ♥♥♥♥
