but a game with some sex in it gets banned?
and not even real people, cartoon people.

why is a game where one guy goes around murdering innocents because he feels like it ok, but a dating game where two people have sex, one of the most natural acts there, without which none of us would even be here, not suitable?

is steam for adults or not?
if it is, then why so squeemish about sex but not cold blooded murder?
given the choice i know what i'd prefer happen to me.

This is not an issue. In America, games that are basically pornography are not carried by nearly every retailer. Steam does not carry those games. If you want them find them elsewhere.

Steam doesn't carry Ao-rated games and most games with explicit sexual content are Ao rated (the Witcher is not, btw).

Well you are using a store that is based and run in America. So American policy will have an effect. I never commented on why that policy is the way it is. I only said how the policy works. That is it. I am not commenting on morality or anything else because it is a waste of time.

They don't, you play what you want to play.

It just won't be distributed by Valve.

Valve decides what it wants to distribute, and right now it doesn't want to distribute those kind of games.

People may keep coming here using arguments and complaints and passive-agressive comments but in the end it it will always be Valve's choice.
