What was the most depressing game you ever played in steam?

Not on Steam, but Disco Elysium ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. What a drag that is, a point and click masquerading as an RPG. And all the pseudo intellectual drivel! And don't give me the: "Oh it's too intellectual for you". I read actual political philosophy.

I don't think I've been truly "depressed" because of a game. But if I can adjust this to "most off-putting," and exclude games that are just plain bad, then I'd say Pathologic Classic HD. I put about 10hrs into it, genuinely appreciated some aspects of it, declined to partake of the experience further.

The most depressing game I've ever played period was the original Fallout.
There's only two endings and both endings are depressing.
